Getting There : About 120 km (75 miles) from Rome and 30 km (19 miles) from L'Aquila.
Campo Felice is only one hour from Rome. It has several runs for all skiing levels, although they are a bit short (1 mile). It's the best place for skiing near Rome, so it's overcrowded on Sundays. Although it's not like skiing in the Alps or in Colorado you can spend a lovely day in Campo Felice during the week or on Saturday, especially with good whether conditions (a cloudy day in Rome means a storm in Campo Felice). |
